Welcome the Crimson Guards' MMORPG Forums! Right now, we only span FFXI, but we are growing continuously, and will soon be on many different ORPGs.

Introductions aside, let's get to the rules of the forums and in-game. There isn't a whole lot, so they should be easy to follow. If you are unclear about anything, PM me and I will clarify for you; don't make assumptions if you aren't completely sure about something, or else you could have some very incorrect info.

Keep the swearing and general acting like an ass to a minimum. On these forums, most "big" swears and other offensive terms are filtered out (ex. fu.ck = f**k, cu.nt = girl thingy, bit.ch = female dog, ass.hole = not a very nice person, sl.ut = very *friendly* woman, etc.), and same with PSO:BB, but not in FFXI (though you can turn one on, most people don't). Also, the forum and PSO:BB's chat filters do not edit out misspells, so you can get away with typing misspells. These should only be unintentional, however. If you are repeatedly misspelling dirty words, you will be warned. If it continuously happens, you may be booted/removed from the forums/team without notice. Continuously being rude and/or obnoxious may net you with the same punishment.

Now, this is not to say that if you act stupid or have an unscheduled Swear Session once, you will be removed (I should know: I act like an idiot most of the time ). If you spam 10 curses in 1 second, you will generally be told to just chill out or to calm down, or something close to that. People get angry: it happens. All of our "moderators" in-game are fairly relaxed about the swearing rule anyways, but you will (usually) be reminded to not say the f-word if you do say it. I feel that the s-word is OK, but I still don't like it all that much. If you are being racist with your comments, you will be told to stop. Jokes are one thing: meaning to be offensive is different. Also, being too..."descriptive" when talking about "guy-friendly" topics such as sexy movie stars will also result in you being told to stop. If you do not stop with the racist and/or sex-related comments, you may be removed from the Linkshell/Team without any prior notice.
Don't be a mooch. In other words, don't constantly beg for help or beg for items/gil/meseta and never offer to help anyone else out in return. Someone has already been booted from TheCrimsonGuards on FFXI because of this, so don't let this happen to you, too: help out when someone needs it. It's not like you'll never have another chance to do whatever you're doing (unless you're doing an event).
You DO NOT have to register on this forum in order to post in the General FFXI board, the General PSO:BB board, the Sign Me Up! boards, or the General Chat board. Without registering, you are allowed to view almost all of the other boards, but cannot post new threads or reply to old ones in those boards. You are never allowed to vote in polls if you are not logged in.
If you happen to get yourself kicked out of TheCrimsonGuards and/or TeamCrimson, then it is possible for you to redeem yourself. If you prove that you have changed and will not let what got you kicked out in the first place happen again, then you may be allowed back in once the leaders of the Linkshell and/or Team have consulted one another.

That should do it for the rules. These may be updated from time to time, but I will post a reply if this were to happen. Thank you, and enjoy your time with the Crimson Guards MMORPG group!
